Asha’s story began when she was rescued from the streets and taken to a kennel in the hopes of finding a loving home. Fate intervened, and she arrived at our door as a replacement for another beloved dog, Frodo. We had no idea that this temporary arrangement would turn into an everlasting bond.
The presence of Frodo in our home was endearing, but his aggressive nature prompted us to seek professional training for him. During this time, Asha came into our lives, bringing a sophisticated air and a delightful energy. Seeing Asha and Frodo playfully romp around was a magical sight that warmed our hearts on a daily basis. However, due to circumstances, we had to make a difficult decision, and Frodo returned to the kennel, while Asha remained with us, eventually becoming the true heart of our family.

Asha’s haughty demeanour complements her regal demeanour, and she is not afraid to assert her dominance. Though she appears mostly aloof and unconcerned with her surroundings, the sound of barking brings her to life, revealing her fearless and spirited side. In an interesting coincidence, Asha and Baldev, our other male dog, were romantically linked in the film Asha. Reality, however, was different, as their relationship remained platonic. Nonetheless, their friendship added a charming touch to our lives, making them the dynamic duo of our home.

In our house, Asha’s love of chicken is well-known. When she detects the scent of chicken, she stands on her hind legs to express her delight and appreciation. It’s a joy to see how excited she is about her favourite treat.
